#StayHere: Fab Whitehall Hotel in Camden, Maine!
The Whitehall Hotel is Maine’s Summer Place!
I recently visited Maine for the first time and absolutely loved it! I had a great time exploring L.L. Bean country (lol), sampling the fab snacks, taking in the beautiful scenery and staying in the fabulous hotels and inns. I had the opportunity to stay in the gorgeous Whitehall hotel.

The Whitehall inn/hotel has fabulous outdoor lounge areas for after dinner relaxing!
The Whitehall Hotel is a fabulous boutique hotel in Camden, Maine. The hotel has a little poetic and Hollywood history. Poet Edna St. Vincent Millay was discovered at a party at the hotel after reciting one of her poems. A guest was so taken t with her poetry that they sponsored her education at Vassar. She later went on to become one of America’s favorite poets. The iconic movies ‘Peyton Place’ (1957) with Lana Turner and Stephen King’s ‘Thinner’ (1996) were both filmed at the hotel.
Whitehall is affectionately called ‘Maine’s Summer Place’ and the interior perfectly blends everything that makes Maine a beautiful destination. I love the non-traditional lobby. We should actually call it a welcoming area because it’s more than just a lobby. It’s a place where guests can lounge, read, relax and play piano (lol). The guest rooms are a unique and fabulous mix of elements that make Maine unique.
Unique Features Make the Whitehall Hotel Home Away From Home!

The super luxe bed in my Whitehall suite was soooo comfortable!
What I absolutely loved about my suite was the separation of the shower and sink & toilet. They are in their own rooms on opposite sides of the suite. This is genius (IMO) and in the morning when your rushing to check out, you don’t have to wait for your traveling partner to finish to use either facility. You both have separate space to do whatever is needed. I’ve never seen this in a hotel suite/room before and I love it.

The sample bath & body products were wonderful!
Other fabulous in suite conveniences include: in-suite Keurig machines, iPhone/iPad charging stations in each room, onsite restaurant & bar, outside lounge area with fire pit. Whitehall also offers guests complimentary wifi and free parking. What’s not in each room/suite? A telephone! Rooms are for relaxing and rejuvenating, not talking on the phone (lol).
Whitehall is a great destination for couples or singles traveling. I’m sure they have suites to accommodate families but the vibe is just more couple and singles focused (IMO).

The lovely lobby at Whitehall!
It is a gorgeous hotel, perfect for a weekend getaway in Camden especially in the summer and fall. It’s affectionately known as Maine’s summer place and I totally understand why (big smile). Before you check out, stay for breakfast and be sure to ask for the delicious salsa frittata! #Delicious #FabFood
Whitehall is a Lark Hotels property. They also have additional hotels in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and California. For more information, please visit www.whitehallmaine.com

What a cute hotel! I don’t travel nearly as often as I’d like but the Omni hotel has to be the best I’ve stayed in. I LOVE panoramic views from a hotel room. Definitely plan to buy a condo for that reason!

The room looks actually cozy! And hopefully the bed is as comfortable as it looks!

It was way more comfortable than it looks. It was like sleeping on a cloud. 🙂

Great review! If I’m ever in the area I’ll give them a try!
To answer your question, of all the places I’ve visited I would have to say the Corinthia Hotel in Budapest is by far my favourite!!!

Thank You! I Googled the Corinthia Hotel and I can see why it’s your favorite. It’s absolutely gorgeous. I’m adding it to my bucket list.

This hotel seems like a great place to visit and relax as a couple or alone. I wonder how the view is during the winter season.

This place looks great! So cozy. I don’t have a favorite hotel but I do make it a point to look for hotels that have a small kitchenette. Makes it a lot easier when traveling with my little one.

That hotel seems relaxing. I would surely check-in on my vacay. I like a comfortable hotel that is clean and have friendly hospitality.

Looks really nice! I haven’t been to Maine since I was a teenager. My favorite feature in hotels is chargers near the bed. You’d be stunned how many of them only have outlets for the alarm clock and the lamp. Or they have an outlet in the lamp that is just… terrible.

This place seems like such a great place to relax and recharge! Thanks for the great review

Sometimes my favorite part about hotels is sleeping in a comfortable bed. I can see that would be the case here. The bed looks super cozy.

I know the point of traveling is to go out and explore, but i love the hotel just as much. This place is gorgeous and looks very relaxing after a long day of being out and about.

This place looks comfy and cozy. I love that home feeling when I’m traveling. The backstory on the poet was a nice touch of history.
