#FABFOOD: Mission BBQ!

We Found A New BBQ Spot and We LOVE IT!

You know we love #FabFood here on Passenger156.com.  When we discover a new place (new to us) that’s budget friendly and the food is delicious, we must share! I recently met my friend Fadra at the Mission BBQ restaurant in Laurel, Maryland for a business meeting.  Listen!!  Let me tell you that pulled BBQ chicken sandwich was the BEST I’ve had in a long time.  It’s now my favorite!

Every location has a big branded truck/military vehicle out front so you won’t miss it (lol).  All of your traditional BBQ favorites are on the menu. Favorites like brisket, pulled pork/chicken, half a yard bird and Sausage (jalapeno & Chz or Classic #41). We can’t forget the famous Bay-B-Back Ribs and the spare ribs.  You also have your choice of BBQ sauces to top off your meat selection.  They include:  Memphis Belle, Smoky Mountain (my fav), Texas Twang, KC Classic, Alabama White, Bay-B-Que, Tupelo Honey Heat, Carolina Vinegar, Georgia Mustard and Craftsman Special.

We love the atmosphere at Mission BBQ including the cool old school soda station!

Once you select your meat or sandwich you can choose from one of their fabulous sides to complete your meal.  Now the sides are just as delicious as the BBQ fixings (lol).  Favorites include: Maggies Mac-N-Cheese, the baked beans w/brisket and the fresh cut fries.

There’s also a kids’ menu for the little BBQ fans.  It includes jr. ribs and sliders (chicken, pork or turkey).  The food was absolutely delicious and I will definitely be returning to enjoy my favorite again…and again!

Mission BBQ is Big on Giving Back!

Another great reason to visit Mission BBQ is that they’re big on giving back to the community and veterans!  $2 from the sale of each ‘American Heroes Cup’ will go to local non-profits for meaningful work in our communities.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent.  Are we saying that you should make a special trip to Laurel, Maryland for lunch at Mission BBQ, Yes and No (lol)!  But if you’re already in the area by the Laurel Town Center shopping mall, please treat yourself to lunch or dinner at Mission BBQ!  If you’re on vacation and come across one of their locations, treat yourself and the family to a delicious barbecue meal at Mission BBQ.  Vacation meals don’t always have to be budget breakers to be delicious and filling!  For more information or to find a location near you please visit www.MISSION-BBQ.com.

Have some fun with your vacation meals and enjoy!

What’s your favorite BBQ meal/sandwich?

  5. I love BBQ. Especially if I can smell the food on the grill before I even arrive to the place. My favorite BBQ meal would have to be Memphis style ribs, collard greens, sweet potato and a big glass of sweet tea.
