2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Is Great For Girls Night Out!

The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Is Perfect For A Shopping Adventure!

Winter is here and in full effect.  One holiday down and two more to go (lol).  Thanksgiving was great and Black Friday shopping was fabulous.  I love the holidays and celebrating them with family.

The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander is road trip ready!

Since my parents are gone, the holidays aren’t quite the same.  My sisters and I decided to start our own tradition during Thanksgiving weekend.  So, after dinner we leave the kids with the men folk (lol) and hit the road to one of our favorite outlet malls for some pre-Black Friday shopping.  We’ve been doing this since 2008 and it’s a family tradition that we look forward to all year.

This year we were lucky enough to drive the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander SEL S-AWC on our annual pre-Black Friday into ‘Black Friday Girls Night Out Shopping Adventure.’  It was a cool comfy ride all the way.

The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander is also sporty enough for a day at the skate park.

First let’s admire this good looking midsize SUV for a few minutes.  I loved the ‘Labrador metallic black’ exterior color with the matching black leather interior.  The trim around the dash display and on the gear shifter console was also a sleek black metallic material and looked great.  I love the attention to detail in this SUV.

Here are the top features that I loved in the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander:

A Heated Steering Wheel Is a Girls’ Best Friend!

Thanksgiving & Black Friday were extremely cold in Maryland.  When we drove to the first outlet mall in Leesburg, VA, we drove around for an hour looking for a parking spot to no avail.  The Outlanders’ heated steering wheel kept my hands nice and toasty while searching for a parking spot. The heated seats were fabulous too.  A warm back and bottom are a nice addition to warm hands (big smile).

Parking Made Easy with An Aerial View Back-Up Camera!

When you’re searching for a parking spot in a super crowded parking lot, there’s only one thing that can make it easier.  A back up camera!  What would make it fabulous?  A back up camera with an overhead view.  Yes!  The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander has a great split view that shows the aerial/overhead view of the car, so parking is easy as 1-2-3!

I LOVE the aerial view on the back-up camera display. The HD display for the other features is sleek & easy to read!

Make Room for the Shopping Bags!

Overall the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander is a great midsize SUV.  There’s one feature that makes it perfect for a ‘Girls Night Out Shopping Adventure.’  The roomy cargo space!

Now, the third row is cool and gives you additional seating space for more shoppers.  It is a little awkward and difficult to access but once a person is back there, it’s comfortable. The third-row seats split fold down which is also great as it gives you much more cargo space.

More cargo space is just what the doctor ordered when you’re going holiday shopping (lol).  The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander delivered enough space for our Black Friday shopping haul.

Another fabulous feature that comes in handy especially when you’re shopping is the power lift gate.  You can open/close it with the remote or the button on the lift gate.  Gotta love technology especially when you need to load your bags quickly and get to the next mall!

No! We Don’t Need Gas!

One place you won’t visit often in the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander is the gas station.  This is an SUV that’s great on gas.  It gets decent gas mileage.  In the city you’ll get 24 miles to the gallon and on the highway you’ll get 29 miles to the gallon.  Your estimated annual fuel costs are around $1,400 for the Outlander.  We drove it to two outlet malls (one in Virginia & one in Maryland) and around town on regular errands and still had a little over a quarter tank after a full week of driving.  #Winning

If you’re looking for a midsize SUV, check out the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander.  You’ll be pleasantly surprised.
