Wonder Woman is Coming to Six Flags America!

What are your plans for summer?  We mean summer 2017! You’re probably thinking we’re just finishing up summer 2016 and getting back into the school groove.  We know you’re busy with back-to-school stuff but we had to let you know about the fabulous news that Six Flags America recently announced.

Six Flags America (SFA) is known for its fabulous thrill rides and water attractions.  This season we enjoyed the fun and refreshing new addition to the waterpark, Splashwater Falls.  Well, they’ve also announced plans for their summer 2017 season.

Six Flags America has one fun swing ride...

This looks like one fun swing ride…

SFA has a fab new partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products on behalf of DC Entertainment resulting in a cool new thrill ride called ‘Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth!’   The ride, a tribute to the most popular female super hero will be an extreme swing ride that spins guests in a 98-foot circle at speeds of 40 mph atop a 24-story tower.  If you’re adventurous enough to open your eyes while on the ride, you’ll enjoy stunning views of Maryland and DC (lol).

‘Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth’ will be 242 feet tall and will be the tallest attraction at Six Flags America.  Joining Batwing, Joker’s Jinx and Superman Ride of Steel, Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth will make Six Flags America the home of DC super heroes and super-villains.  For more information on all the faubulous attractions, please visit www.sixflagsamerica.com

Will you ride ‘Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth?’

Be Happy.  Be Fabulous.  Be Well Traveled.

  1. I have yet to finalize my travel plans for 2017 but I can definitely tell you that I’m not adventurous enough to be trying this ride, lol! It does look like a wonderful adventure, but I’ll let someone else in the family tell me about it. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

  3. This looks like a super cool ride. Unfortunately, I’ve gotten to be a scaredy cat as I’ve gotten older and probably wouldn’t ride it LOL. If I were still 16, I definitely would.

  5. OMG, this looks insane. This is perfect for the thrill seeker. I don’t like rides that just spin me around in circles so I’m going to pass on this one.
