Aloha from Hawaii’s Big Island…

Hawaii’s Big Island is one of the most popular tourist destinations on the planet. This island paradise offers a host of activities for travelers of all ages, but if you are in search of some relaxing activities that you can enjoy to let go of all of your stress and really recharge your batteries before heading back home, check out our list of four options below to plan the trip of a lifetime.

1.   Indulge in Rejuvenating Spa Treatments

There are a variety of fantastic spa facilities throughout the Big Island of Hawaii, and these are sure to put you right into the lap of luxury and help you release all of your cares and worries. Kings Cabana is a Waikoloa spa, and it is one great example of the many options that you will have during your stay on the Big Island. There, you can indulge in treatments that will re-balance and restore both your mind and body, and you will be able to get away from it all in a tranquil setting with amazing natural beauty surrounding you.

2.   Spend Time on Beach 69

A somewhat rustic and small beach on the Big Island is called Beach 69, and many people do not know about this gem that is located on the Kohala Coast. If you enjoy snorkeling and exploring the underwater world, you can take advantage of the rocky area that is found on the southern end of this lovely beach, but if you want to go swimming, stick with the northern side instead. There will also be plenty of shade to enjoy under the beautiful trees, and you can soak up the sun’s rays and get plenty of vitamin D to feel rejuvenated again as you relax to the sound of the waves on the sand.

3.   Head Out into Nature

One of the best ways to relax and restore your body and mind is by heading out into nature, and the Big Island offers a lot of opportunities to do just that. A lot of people who like to hike will check out Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, which has over 150 miles of trails that you can explore. Be sure to bring your camera to take photos of the beautiful landscape and wildlife that you will encounter, and breathe in the fresh air along the way.

4.   Go Horseback Riding

A relaxing horseback ride through the gorgeous Hawaiian ecosystem could be just what you are looking for. Just be sure to take care and treat the animals well during your excursion. Find a reputable eco-tour that will take you to breathtaking river valleys, waterfalls, mountains, and beaches.
