Fab Staycation Idea: Wine in the Woods!

Young Couple Enjoying Meal In Outdoor RestaurantLooking for something fabulous to do this weekend?  We have the perfect BFF or couples event…‘Wine in the Woods!’  It’s an annual-popular wine festival in Howard County.  This year’s event takes place this weekend Saturday May 21st thru Sunday May 22nd.

If you’re a wine lover and want to try new wines in a beautiful setting, this is the event for you!  ‘Wine in the Woods’ will be held in Symphony Woods in Columbia, Maryland.  The event has been described as the best outdoor event by Columbia magazine.  WITW will host 30 participating wineries and a variety of gourmet food to sample.  Whether you are visiting DC/MD for the weekend or just want to have some adult fun with your sweetie, this is a perfect event.

Please purchase your tickets in advance if not you can also pay at the gate.  Prices are as follows:

Saturday May 21, 2016:

  • $32 = wine taster/$40 at the gate
  • $25 = designated driver

Sunday May 22, 2016

  • $27 = wine taster/$35 at the gate
  • $20 = designated driver

Before you go, there are a few things to keep in mind.  Remember to bring your ID with you to the gate.  Ticket with NO ID = NO ENTRY.  It’s a rain or shine event, so there are no refunds.  Tickets are only valid for the day purchased.  To purchase tickets in advance and for more information please visit www.WineInTheWoods.com  Enjoy!
