If you’re like me you think cars have personalities. I go so far as to name my cars (my SUV is affectionately called Maxx) and think of them as my babies. So with this logic in mind the 2016 Mazda6 Grand Touring sedan is #BAE.

When I first saw the 2016 Mazda6 Grand Touring sedan, I immediately thought Mazda has a winner here! The totally re-designed body style is sleek, sexy and drop dead gorgeous. I haven’t been this excited about the new look of a car since I first saw the new body design of the 2003 Range Rover (lol). This new body style is going to turn heads, it’s seriously that attractive. The color I test drove was called ‘Snowflake White Pearl’ (her nickname was ‘Snow White’ lol) and that definitely added to the attraction but honestly this new design would be attractive in any color. The parchment (white) leather interior was easy on the eyes too. Be forewarned, it’s definitely not a kid friendly interior color. But then again the kids can ride with their grandparents.
Let’s get to it, what makes the new 2016 Mazda6 Grand Touring sedan such a fabulous car?!
I’m a firm believer that if you have to drive to work for any length of time you should be ultra-comfortable. Mazda also believes in this theory because the Mazda6 is super comfortable an oh-so luxurious. The front leather trimmed seats are heated and are 8-way (driver) & 6-way (passenger) power seats with lumbar support. So not only are they comfortable they’re actually good for your back.
I love technology especially in a car and the Mazda6 does not disappoint. The 7 inch color-touch screen multimedia display is one of the best I’ve seen to date. It’s bright, easy to read and very easy to navigate. Now my favorite tech feature in this car is the ‘active driving display’ which pops up automatically just above the steering wheel when you turn the car on. At first I thought it was going to be distracting but it actually was very helpful. No longer did I have to look down at the dash for my speed, it was right there in quick accessible view. The ‘active driving display’ also shows your turn-by turn navigation when using the beautiful GPS. Yes, even the GPS in this car is beautiful. I loved how the actual exit signs appeared just like they are on the highway. It’s so cute (lol).
